Valve positioner IL-TOP-22A41/22A42 for horizontal pneumatic valves

IL-TOP-21A41/21A42 is a Ex d explosionproof valve positioner. It receives instructions from PLC/DCS or other automatic control systems, such as 0/4-20mA, 0-5V/10V, and feeds back the current valve position signal to PLC/DCS and other automatic control systems. It can also communicate through IO-Link or MOD BUS RS485 version bus.

What is a valve positioner? What's the function?

DONJOY valve positioner IL-TOP is a device that is used to control the flow of pneumatic control valve. It is a type of a feedback system that controls the valve position and adjusts it to a desired setpoint. The function of a valve positioner is to ensure that the valve opens and closes at the exact position and time required to meet the system's requirements.

The valve positioner receives a signal from the controller PID and then positions the valve actuator accordingly. It adjusts the valve actuator's position until the valve is at the desired position. This ensures that the valve is functioning correctly and that it provides accurate flow control. The positioner also provides feedback to the controller PID, allowing it to make any necessary adjustments and maintain the desired setpoint.

IL-TOP can communicate IO-LINK or MODBUS RS485,and compatible Pid. Power at DC24V. Input signal 0/4-20mA and 0-5V/10V. Valve positioners are commonly used in industries such as food,dairy,beverage,water treatment and pharmaceutical.
